So I've been thinking...What would you all think if Fitness Friday had it's very own blog? Rather than having Fitness Friday once a week on God Speaks Today, what do you think about this blog being only about hearing God's voice in everyday life, and a second blog that is only dedicated to fitness and nutrition?
I know there are some of you who only read this blog for one or the other (I've actually had many people say they don't even read Fitness Friday and sitemeter confirms this.)
I'm wondering how confusing it must be for someone to do a Google search on hearing God's voice, come to this blog and see a post about flax. The search engines don't know what to do with me.
Know what I'm sayin?
Does that excite you?
Frustrate you?
Overwhelm you?
Do absolutely nothing for you?
If I started another blog, would you follow me there?
I have a poll on the sidebar. I'd love to know what you think. Leave a comment with your thoughts.

I say "Just do it."
I'll add your "fitness blog" link to http://www.seemymomrun.com.
I have joined forums at Runner's World and have gotten quite a lot of traffic from other commenters on RW. This is good b/c I have "Jesus" on my blog and Andrew's story of his faith in Christ. Getting THE MESSAGE out through my running blog.
I doubt this is going to help much, but...I found your blog via fitness as I have lost 77 lbs, and have at least 30 more to go, but I am a Christian. So, I check your blog every day to hear God's voice through you. I'd just have to check both blogs every day - alas.
I tend not to read 2nd blogs. Even if it's good stuff, it just feels like another blog to add to my reading list, ya know? In fact, any time I find a new blog that I want to add to my reader, I try to find one that I'm not really reading to delete (to keep it all manageable). So for me, I would then miss out on all the wisdom FF offers, even though I love it and need it. :)
I think it's a good idea. I found that after I had blogged for a while I needed to break my blog up, too. I will gladly follow you on two blogs.
By the way, I am a Mormon who recently lost my belief in Mormonism. I love Jesus very much, however, and your blog is a sweet source of spiritual nourishment as I go through a major transition in my life. Thank you for sharing your faith so beautifully, and for keeping Things centered on our Savior. You are a blessing for me.
I enjoy the format of your blog right now ~ but I'll follow two blogs if that works best for you.
Happy decision making.
I say do what works best for you. :)
I can't believe Glenda beat me to commenting! ;) I'm in agreement with do whatever works best for you. I do read Fitness Friday and enjoy it along with everything else you post. I would gladly follow both blogs. I also think the way you have it set up now works just fine. Whatever works for you works for me!
Hi friend :)
I would follow both blogs for sure! I love all of your God Speaks Today stuff....and I always look forward to Fitness Friday. You do such a good job with both of them!
Have a great Wednesday!
- Kate :)
I guess I'm a little different as I'm a blog diet and having to restrict my blog time. Even though I have TWO blogs (is this hypocrisy? LOL) I like visiting a PERSON rather than a topic. So one blog is my vote. (My two blogs have different audiences. One is business while Dancing is just for fun and was my dive into blogland.)If you go to two blogs, I'll still be a fan.
I love the Friday blogs but worry about YOU having enough to do both.
